CONFIRMED FOR SKYDRIVE 2026: THE CT-133 "RED KNIGHT" RETURNS! In honour of Canadian Armed Forces Day, we're celebrating the return of a true Canadian aviation icon. Airshow London is thrilled to announce that Jet Aircraft Museum's CT-133 "Red Knight" will be returning to the Air Display at SkyDrive 2026 this August! This striking CT-133 Silver Star, painted in its signature red, will take to the skies over London once again – a bold tribute to the legendary solo jet that thrilled airshow crowds across North America. The original Red Knight was a Canadian Air Force solo aerobatic display aircraft that operated from 1958 to 1969, becoming a symbol of Canadian military aviation, precision flying, and RCAF professionalism. The red-painted Silver Star thrilled audiences across North America with loops, rolls, high-speed passes, and other aerobatic manoeuvres. Often appearing alongside or in conjunction with other Canadian display teams, including the Golden Hawks and later the Golden Centennaires, the Red Knight earned its place as one of Canada's most beloved airshow performers. Thanks to the hard work and dedication of London's Jet Aircraft Museum, this legendary look and legacy continue to fly today. The museum's CT-133 "Red Knight" keeps an important chapter of Canadian aviation history alive for generations.
