Officially designated the CF-188 Hornet and commonly called the CF-18, this multi-role fighter is used for a range of roles, including air defence, air superiority, ground attack, and tactical support. Powered by two engines and capable of reaching speeds of Mach 1.8, the CF-18 combines incredible speed, power and manoeuvrability. Its tactical demonstration will give spectators an exciting look at the capabilities that have made the Hornet one of the Royal Canadian Air Force's most recognizable fighter aircraft.
