CONFIRMED FOR SKYDRIVE 2026: THREE QF-16 ZOMBIE VIPERS Airshow London is excited to welcome three QF-16 "Zombie Vipers" from the 82nd Aerial Targets Squadron at Tyndall Air Force Base, Florida to this year's Static Display! Yes, you read that right – Zombie Vipers. The QF-16 begins life as an F-16 Fighting Falcon before being modified for a very different mission. After retirement, these aircraft are given a second life as full-scale aerial targets – capable of being flown with a pilot or remotely operated without anyone in the cockpit. Built to support advanced training, testing, and weapons evaluation, the QF-16 keeps the speed, power, and performance of the original F-16, but takes on an entirely new role. So yes – "Zombie Viper" is a pretty fitting name! The QF-16 brings a unique piece of military aviation to SkyDrive 2026 – one you don't get to see every day.
