Airshow London Ready to Welcome Fans Rain or Shine Airshow London is ready to welcome aviation fans for another exciting weekend of world-class aviation. With rain in the forecast, organizers are reminding guests that Airshow London is a rain or shine event, with several options available to help guests enjoy their day comfortably.   As with every airshow, the flying schedule is subject to change based on weather, operational requirements and safety considerations. Airshow London’s experienced aviation and safety teams will monitor conditions continuously throughout the weekend, working closely with performers and London International Airport.   Rain does not automatically mean the flying stops. Performers may adjust or delay their demonstrations based on cloud ceiling, visibility and other weather conditions, including utilizing approved modified or low-show displays where applicable. SkyDrive Offers a Unique Weather-Friendly Viewing Experience One of the unique advantages of Airshow London’s SkyDrive experience is that guests have their vehicle directly within their designated viewing area.   This flexibility makes SkyDrive particularly well suited to changing weather conditions and allows guests to settle in and enjoy the airshow experience without having to travel back and forth to separate parking areas.   In periods of rain, SkyDrive guests can quickly take shelter in their own vehicle without leaving their viewing location and can return outside as conditions improve. Guests can bring rain gear, umbrellas, extra clothing, blankets, chairs, food and other supplies and keep them conveniently in their vehicle throughout the day. Ground Displays and Activities Airshow London’s static aircraft displays and ground activities are also an important part of the weekend experience and are expected to operate as conditions allow. Weather Is Monitored Throughout the Day Airshow London does not make flying decisions based simply on whether rain appears in the forecast. Weather conditions can also change quickly.
