On Saturday September 26th, open your evening with music that traces the arc of a single day. Sun Triptych follows the changing play of light on the natural world as the hours pass, unfolding in three movements - Dawn, Day, Dusk - for solo violin, cello, and orchestra. The KW Symphony will perform movements 1 (Dawn) and 3 (Dusk) as part of Beauty and Power.
Conducted by Andrei Feher, Sun Triptych is a natural opening statement for Beauty and Power. Before the evening builds toward the sweep of Beethoven's Eroica, Tabakova gives us beauty in its purest form: light itself, unfolding gently across a single day.
It's a radiant way to begin an evening that moves from the intimate to the monumental. Join us September 26th for Beauty and Power, as the KW Symphony opens the Masterworks series with this modern gem.
