It’s time to start planning your BESTIVAL weekend.


On September 11 and 12, Belmont Village will come alive for our 10th annual celebration with live music, visual art, family entertainment, workshops, local vendors, great food and plenty of surprises. And the cost of admission is FREE! Our festival is made possible by our generous sponsors, volunteers and Belmont Village. Thanks this year to Rupert Street RecordingZehr Group, Swanson’s Home Building Centre, Lexington Park, Tim Hortons Belmont VillageABA Architects, Heffner Toyota, Graffiti Market, SpecSavers, Arabella Park as well as Sherwood Music, Long&McQuade and our BESTival FRIENDS


FRIDAY NIGHT: WOMEN IN CHARGE


Meet us at the Glasgow Stage on Friday evening for the official opening of our 10th annual BESTIVAL.


Opening remarks begin at 7:00 PM, followed at 7:30 PM by Women In Charge, curated by Cheryl Lescom and featuring:


Sling Sisters - Shewolves of London - Madison Galloway - Jessie T - Stacey Lee - Amanda Kind (With Eryn Simoes, Janessa Nunan, Shaughnessy Valant and Jorja Smith) - Isy Aboagye


And over at Arabella Park at 8:00 PM, grab a brew and see the fabulous House of Kameleon drag show.


SATURDAY: START EARLY AND STAY ALL DAY


Saturday begins at 9:00 AM with Midtown Yoga on the Union Stage and an all-ages Urban Sketchers Workshop with Moumita Roychowdhury in the Arts & Crafts near Central Park.


From there, the day is packed with performances including:


1PM: Red Orkestra 

2PM: Rebekah Stevens

3PM: Misty Blue

4PM: Antonio Michael Downing

5PM: COAST TOWN

6PM: Brooks and Bowskill

7PM: Bradley Hale Band

8PM: It's Too Late to Stop Now - The Music of Van Morrision


Families can also look forward to martial arts demonstrations, face painting, storytime, roaming performers and plenty more in KidSquare and on our Union Stage and Central Park.


From 10AM to 4PM we will have: Arts & crafts with Artshine, a giant LEGO play area with Imagine It Global - Lego Bricks, and soccer fun with Real Futbol.


There will be free face painting from 10AM to 2PM with 7 Shades by G.


On the Union Stage we have Mr. J and Cherry Lane at 10AM and Katy Sunshine At 11AM. 


In Central Park enjoy Boundless Martial Arts at 11AM, 12:15PM Storytime with Antonio Michael Downing And hang out with K-Pop Demon Hunters from 2PM to 4PM.
